SUMMARY:Leave a Legacy of Love Workshop
DESCRIPTION:Has your family discussed producing a Legacy Project but you don’t know where to begin? Hear tips and suggestions to help you get started creating your own life story with memorable pictures\, adventurous tales\,  and your favorite music.  Memoir projects could be an article\, book\, documentary\, slide show\, movie\, DVD or another media production. This presentation includes two  completed 40th Anniversary Legacy DVDs : “Rise to the Dream Across the Sea” is about Juan and Juanita Ansotigue’s WWII five-year pen-pal romance\, 17 year age difference and subsequent challenges of their 47 year marriage. “Rising to a Dream” is about Dave and Helena Ansotigue Reynolds’ first 40 years of marriage. Helena refers to this project as “Rise of The Fastball Across the Plate” because its theme features their passion for baseball. Also see a 40 foot wide photo essay stored in O-Ring notebooks.  Ideas on how to host a family LIVING Celebration of Life will also be shared.  Pre-registration is strongly suggested but not required. Call 253-856-5164; ask for Class #71004. Free — all aged adults welcome.

SUMMARY:Leave a Legacy of Love Workshop
DESCRIPTION:If your family has wanted to create a Legacy Project but you aren’t sure how to get started\, come hear tips and suggestions that may help you begin this exciting process. \nSee  two examples of Legacy DVD’s that happen to be 40th Anniversary projects  and a 40 foot wide life-story-in-print photo essay. \nThe first is about Helena’s parents\, Juan and Juanita Ansotigue’s World War II 5-year pen-pal romance\, marriage and subsequent challenges. This project was created in 1990 for their milestone anniversary but was also shown for Juan’s Celebration of Life when he passed away in 1997. Legacy Projects produced in advance allow families to avoid the stress of last-minute productions while in the midst of grieving. \nThe second highlight DVD was produced by Dave and Helena’s son and daughter\, Jason and Jana Reynolds of their first 40 years\, including their baseball passion. Entitled “Rising to a Dream” Helena affectionately refers to it as “Rise of the Fastball Across the Plate.” \nAll ages are welcome\, especially families.  There is no charge but pre-registration is highly suggested by calling (253) 856-5164.
