Brookdale Foundation House residents, families, and local community members are welcome to this exclusive book author event during Happy Hour from 3 to 4 PM. The "Hamilton Happy Hour" features Federal Way resident, Helena Reynolds, who co-authored a Memoir Plus book with her friend, Mary Anne Hamilton, great-great-granddaughter-in-law of US Founding Father Alexander Hamilton. Their book, Destined to Be a Hamilton, (available on Amazon) shares Mary Anne's life stories and has over 70 images, 60 in full color, plus QR Codes linking to online features and resources. Also included are 90 little-known facts about Alexander Hamilton's contributions to America. Mary Anne will share a brief presentation (via Zoom) and will answer questions. This date marks the 58th anniversary of the exact day Mary Anne met her future husband, a 65-year-old guest at the cocktail lounge where she was a struggling 31-year-old waitress with five children, waiting for her divorce to be finalized.
